Father's day

For father's day we wanted to go to one of our favorite breakfast spots, the Flying Saucer, but it was closed!   We love the Flying Saucer because they have pancakes with no eggs or milk, that still taste delicious and Penner can eat without needing epinephrine. Breakfast is a hard meal if you have a kid that is allergic to egg and milk. I don't know why they would be closed on Father's day, I thought that was a poor business decision. Anyway, we went to a different breakfast spot called Nookie's, which we have heard good things about. They only had oatmeal for Penner, but he enjoyed it.

Nookie's is in Lincoln Park so after breakfast we decided to go walk around Lincoln Park Zoo. It was a beautiful day for a walk.

I tried to get a father, son photo shoot throughout the day. Sean is a wonderful dad.

Say "cheese!"

The lion was right by the glass, it was huge!

It was nice having time with just the three of us in the morning. The rest of the day we spent with my dad and Sean's dad.
