Today was full of hospital visits! My mom had her second surgery in a month and Penner and I spent most of the day with my family in the waiting room of Rush hospital. It sounds like a terrible place for a two year old, but they actually have private waiting rooms for families so he could run around all he wanted. He still goes a little stir crazy, but at least I don't have to make him sit quietly the whole time because of other people around. My mom's surgery was over pretty quickly, but she was in recovery for what seemed like an eternity. By the time we finally got to see her after the surgery, it was like 5pm and we were both pooped.
After visiting my mom, we went to see the newest addition to the family, Scarlet Rose Margaret Satalino! She is beautiful! I am so excited that Megan had a baby girl, we our going to dress our girls up like twins! Hopefully our girls will always have a close friend in each other. Holding that adorable little baby made me so jealous and eager for my little girl to come!

These are some pictures from another time visiting my mom. We went there a few times because she was there for like a week. Now when we are home, Penner pretends that he is in the hospital. He will lay down on the futon and tell us that he needs to see the Doctor. He will rest for a little bit, then run in the other room exclaiming that he is all better.
Apparently someone was on a very important phone call.
Every time we went to see my mom, he loved to put these things on his legs. They fill with air and kinda massage your legs. He is so silly.
